Magic Kingdom
The first of the theme parks is the Magic Kingdom. The park itself sits on 142 acres and is home to Cinderella’s Castle located on Main Street U.S.A. Located in Cinderella’s Castle has a super-secret suit. It is also the only hotel room in the park.
Magic Kingdom is made up of 6 lands. Each land represents something different. Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
At night time gather with your family and friends and watch as Cinderella’s Castle magically transfer in a beautiful state of the art projection show, with special effects, lasers and fireworks.

Epcot
Epcot is Walt Disney World’s 2ns Theme Park. Opening on October 1st, 1982. Epcot is a massive 300 acres. Making it three times as large as Magic Kingdom. But it’s still not the largest. Epcot took 3 years of construction.
Spaceship Earth which is the icon for the park weighs 16 million pounds. Also it’s skin is made up of 11,324 aluminum and plastic alloy triangles.
It took 3,000 designers and 4,000 construction workers to build the first phase.
Epcot’s acronym is Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
Epcot is split into 2 sections:

World Showcase- Each Pavilion represents a country.

Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studio’s opened May 1st, 1989, however it actually opened as MGM Studios. January 2008 MGM Changed it’s name to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is Walt Disney’s World’s third theme park. Hollywood Studios is 135 acres with Epcot and Animal Kingdom still being bigger. This park is imagined worlds like film, television, theater, music and Golden age of Hollywood.
Hollywood Studios is actually divided into different sections. Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Animation Courtyard, Grand Avenue, Toy Story Land, Commissary Lane, Echo Lake and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the fourth theme park opening on Earth day, April 22nd, 1998. It is also the largest theme park covering 580 acres. The park is dedicated to natural environment and animal conservation. Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro’s Safari is actually bigger than the entire Magic Kingdom. The tree of life is hand carved with 325 animal carvings to be exact. There were 10 artists and 3 Imagineers. It also took around 18 months to carve all the animals. There are more than 4500 cast members and well over 1000 animals. The park requires 4 tons of food per day. Animal Kingdom has multiple themed areas as well: Oasis, Discovery Island, Pandora-The World of Avatar, Africa, Asia and Dinoland U.S.A.
